- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Market Procurement Association. He also serves as the chairman of Mashreq Bank PJSC and Abdulla Al Ghurair Group.
- Governing Council Founding Partner of the Global Muslim Philanthropy Fund for Children in partnership with UNICEF and Islamic Development Bank.
- Member of the Board and Global Leadership Council for Generation Unlimited. His Excellency holds an Honors Degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.
Fadel Abdulbaqi Al Ali
Group Chief Executive Officer
- Fadel Al Ali was pointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Gulf Market Procurement Association. He also serves as Chairman of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) since 1 June 2021, following his appointment to the DFSA Board of Directors in 2008. He began his career with Citibank in 1989 before joining Dubai Holding in 2004. During his tenure at Dubai Holding, he held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, serving as CEO until 2017.
- He subsequently served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Operating Officer of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) until 2021. In recognition of his leadership and governance expertise, Mr. Al Ali was appointed Chairman of Majid Al Futtaim Holding in June 2025.
- He also serves as Vice Chairman of WIO bank and is a board member of Commercial International Bank (Egypt). Mr Al Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and system engineering from the University of Southern California.
Ms. Mariam Ghobash

- Ms. Mariam Ghobash was appointed as one of the Board of Directors of Gulf Market Procurement Association. She also member of Board of Directors of Mashreqbank P.S.C. She has substantial corporate governance experience with both publicly listed and private companies.
- Previously, she was Vice-Chairperson of Aldar Properties and Invest AD. She has also served on the boards of National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Al Hilal Bank, Zayed University, National Takaful Co. “Watania”, Abu Dhabi National Distribution Company and was a Director in the Global Special Situations Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. Ms. Ghobash holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and has also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston.
H.E Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei
Member, Board of Director & Head of Procurement
- His Excellency Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei is the Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi. Formerly, H.E. Al Mazrouei was a member of the Abu Dhabi Government Restructuring Committee (ADGRC) and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, which is a government entity that provides strategic policy and communications advice to the Chairman of the Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
- H.E. is also chairman of the board of directors at Etihad Airways.
- H.E. earned his bachelor degree from Suffolk University of Boston in Business Administration specializing in Finance.
